Each Cobalt Tactik Dog Collar is 2in/5cm in width and triple sewn and tacked on 1050D nylon – that’s the same grade used for rock climbing and will stand the test of time.
Our dual release buckle is easy to use and secure for dogs of any weight, while our 6mm D ring is machine welded and hot rolled making it a solid, dependable link that won’t bend or snap under pressure.
The handle is located on the top right of the collar, and is for tactical/ working use or for immediate control over your dog in any situation; allowing you to secure your dog without wrapping your hand under the collar.
This collar is adjustable for 3 size ranges, listed above.
This collar comes neoprene lined; providing a odourless, sweat resistant line of comfort that helps with chaffing and fur/skin sensitivities on the neck.
Made with breathable material that is built for daily use
Pressure tested for up to 600lbs of pull force

We’re obsessed with Alpine dog collars. We just got these two in for our Belgian Malinois. I tried to get a picture of him wearing them but he’s not the type of dog to stay still long enough for a photo 😂 We had my husband’s security company logo embroidered on them for when they’re out working, too! We had to replace our Golden’s collar after an unruly neighbor shot him with a shotgun. The big sturdy 2” Alpine Dog collar deflected a good amount of lead shot. We never intended for the collar to act as defense but we’re grateful he had at least a bit of shielding. We love the Alpine collars and his replacement is identical to the one we had previously purchased. Thanks for the great product! All of our Goldens have Alpine Dog collars.

Easy to order, price matches the quality. Easy on and off. Will definitely buy again. I have a WOOLY Siberian Husky so he is extra fluffy. We have a nimble Greyhound mix puppy. He's very playful but doesn't always know when to stop and, because he's so tall he intimidates some of my extended family members who have never owned a dog. Anyway, I saw a woman with her Weimaraner in a pet food store and he had an Alpine collar on. I noticed the handle right away. She mentioned that it was really helpful to have as an easy way to gently control her dog, especially with company at home, so I thought to give it a try. Delivery time was excellent. It arrived just before Christmas and we got to test the handle out whenever the puppy got too excited around our company. The wide collar fits nicely on our puppy's long neck and will grow with him, so I should get a lot of use out of it. It's very sturdy, with a metal buckle, which is nice (he chewed the plastic buckle on his old collar).
The collar is very well made. The construction is solid. I am impressed with the ease of use with the clasp. I bought it for my Australian Shepherd so I am able to clip a leash or grab the collar easily through all of his fur. I am pleased with how easily I can do this now.

Our 10 month old Aussie shepherd is very strong and able to pull me off my feet, but this collar really helps! The width of the collar helps us with leash control. The collar spreads out the pressure making it safer for his neck & spine. The clasp is sturdy and opens with ease (& one hand) once you get the hang of it. The nylon is very high quality & the blue is a deep rich colour. We got his name embroidered on it & the font is very clear & well done. Was unable to find anything of this quality & width in any local pet store.
I've historically used harnesses for my pups, but have recently learned that my 4yo has a spinal issue that seems to be exacerbated by the pressure of a harness. Switched to a 2" collar under recommendation from a trainer I was working with, and he's so happy! Great collar, and love that my boy can move pain free while we're out and I feel secure knowing that this collar will stay put.

It's well made, the handle is 👍🏻 and helps me divert my dogs attention. I also had problems with shipping (I think usps lost it?) and Alpine was quick to respond and sent out a new one which had no shipping problems.
