Our Blackout HNTR Dog Harness is made for comfortable, durable daily wear and extended hiking featuring 4 of our dual release buckles.
This harness comes with four machine welded and hot rolled attachment points both in front and back and an entirely padded body and top handle for additional guidance and control, making them a solid, dependable link that won’t bend or snap under pressure.
Made with high quality nylon webbing that is reinforced on all points of pressure and neoprene lined, it provides a odourless, sweat resistant line of comfort that helps with chaffing and fur/skin sensitivities on the neck.
This is a full mobility harness that provides comfort and breathability while still remaining durable and secure for dogs of all weight. Because this harness is buckled at four points, it does not have to pass over the head.
Side and top paneling includes Velcro backing for patch attachments. All four sides of this harness are adjustable in length.

Absolutely LOOOOVE our Alpine Dog Co. Hunter Harness for our Belgian Malinois, Echo, who is in training as a cardiac alert dog. I love the quality and heft to this harness/vest. Just by it's weight and feel, you know it's well-made. It has held up incredibly well so far to everything we've thrown at it, and still looks brand new! I am looking to get some larger patches made for it, but for now, he's mostly just getting used to the feel of "wearing a uniform" while working. 😉 Absolutely love all of our ADC gear and wouldn't hesitate to purchase again! (I'm a bit of a collar addict...so I have no doubt that I'll be purchasing again. lol)
I have purchased 4 different harnesses for Luna from Alpine Dog Co and love them all. The most recent purchase included a tacti dog leash as well for when we are running. Everything is great quality and built to last. They even through in a bite pillow free of charge :)

Excellent quality, metal strong clips all 4 are detachable. Two D-Rings on the back one higher closer to neck and second closer to end (great for options such as we were able to use this traveling and hooked his dog seat belt to higher ring to hold him back more) Really love the placement of the top handle and the harness comes with option for patches, I purchased my patches from Etsy just because i didn't have the extra to buy the custom ones they have available from alpine. And the neck and girth are adjustable my dog is a 70lbs German Shepherd Husky and he fits the size Large. In the video we also are using the short traffic leash from alpine too. Overall this is the 3rd purchase from this brand and i Love the quality it is dependable and I’m comfortable knowing the products i have will have my dog safe and secure. It is worth it.

(IG: @reactivedog.doingthings) I bought the HNTR 3.0 Blackout Harness in the summer of 2022 and I STILL can't stop recommending it to everyone. It has: • 4 contact points for the leash (2 on the back, 1 on the chest, and 1 on the underbelly). • A strong tactical handle that sits perpendicular to the spine for optimal gripping. • Velcro space on both sides of the back, top of the back, and the chest for patch add-ons. • 4 cobra clips so that you can put the harness on/remove it several different ways- whichever is most convenient for your dog! This is perfect for dogs who don't like gear going over their heads. It also makes for easy cleaning because you can detach the top and bottom halves from each other entirely. Our harness has been through all of nature's elements and a ton of dog sport trials, withstanding all of the rough use like it's nothing.
Amazing Quality
Im a long time customer that has purchased several harnesses (3 of this blackout style, 3 of the camo style, 1 melon green, and 1 camo of the other harness model they sell), collars, and leashes over the years for my dogs. Alpine dogs makes the best, high quality gear you could possibly want for your dog! I absolutely love these tactical harnesses bc the material used is soft not stiff (like most tactical harnesses from other brands) but still very strong with high quality craftsmanship. Sizing charts are easy to follow and very accurate and the customer service is top knotch if u have any questions or concerns. The buckles are awesome! Super strong, heavy duty, but simple to unbuckle when u want to unbuckle it. The 2 separate d rings to attach leash or traffic handle on the the top are genius. My favorite part about these harnesses are the multiple velcro straps for attaching custom patches that you can custom order with your harness or use patches from other brands like I do. My dogs always wear these harnesses with custom patch set ups to show ppl we are training and do not pet when we go train at our different training classes, home depot, feed store, local parks, or wherever. You will not find a better or even similar quality harness at this extremely affordable price anywhere else! I really can't say enough great things about this brand and the gear they make!
I am more than happy with the harness. The quality and workmanship is excellent and my boy looks impressively smart wearing it! I would love to send you a photo/video but my tech skills leave a lot to be desired. I would also add that I am impressed with the service: I was notified when the item came back in stock and my order arrived very quickly. Thank you. This is my second purchase from Alpine and my previous experience was equally good.
This isn’t my first order from Alpine, and I’ve always appreciated the look and quality of their products. I love that this vest matches my dogs’ collars and leashes, and it fits my Cane Corso well. The overall design is great, but I would like to see a larger handle and a bit more length for better coverage. I was however disappointed with the custom patch I ordered this time. The cut was uneven, the stitching quality was poor, and the finished product looked less polished than expected. Given the additional cost of a custom item, I expected a much higher level of craftsmanship. While I would consider purchasing their vests again, I would not order a custom patch in the future.

The quality of the product is much higher than what I would expect for the price. The hardware is top notch and the overall value is excellent. Makes me wonder how thin the profit margin is manufacturing something of this quality and selling it for such a reasonable price.

Overall, I've been very happy with the quality of products from Alpine Dog and this harness is no exception. However, I would offer a few suggestions: 1) Add a MOLLE system for attaching accessories. 2) I find the length a little short. The overall fit is great, but a little longer would be nice, and 3) Make the handle larger. I take a size L-XL glove and find it difficult to fit my hand inside.
My basenji's new service dog vest. I love it! Though I had to take the straps up all the way, the chest straps wouldn't go any more so I had to sew them a bit tighter. But other than that the harness is fantastic!
Unfortunately my dog is a very weird size and mixed breed, so she’s a bit impossible to find a perfect sized anything for to be honest. While this harness is still a little too big for her even after measuring her ( no fault of the business, it’s like she’s always supposed to fit but then never does), I still love it. It’s so incredibly well made and the patches are awesome. Thankfully it’s cold more than warm here so she’ll be wearing a sweater or coat underneath this most months and it will fit her perfectly. Even outside it being a little too big it still works and serves its purpose of being low against her chest and gives me a lot of control when she decides she wants be stupid and chase a snake, or gets terrified when a massive dog gets too excited near her. I have no regrets buying this, and if down the line they make an XS for weirdly thin and long dogs, I’ll be the first to buy it!

The harness fits great and there's plenty of room for adjustment as my puppy grows. The embroidery is high quality and my pup is proud to wear the harness. It's light enough for warmer weather but tough enough for the mountain trails and undergrowth that she loves to get lost in... Great product!
